Director, Engineering & Prototyping – Global Air Logistics and Training, Inc.
Jamie has spent the last 20 years working as a software engineer in the San Diego area primarily in the defense industry. After graduating from USCD in 1999 he went to work for the San Diego based defense company Predicate Logic Inc. Here he worked on software for SPAWAR Systems Center that automated the management of communications circuits in submarine radio rooms. After six years he moved on to work for Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) where he spent the next 14 years. Jamie worked on the Joint Effects Model (JEM), a web-based software application that supplies the Department of Defense (DOD) with the one and only accredited tool to effectively model and simulate the effects of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) weapon strikes and incidents. Here he led the integration and development of JEM into the Global Command and Control System Maritime and Joint (GCCS-M and GCCS-J). He later led multiple software efforts as a lead prior to moving over to the Battlefield Airborne Communications (BACN) program where he worked for 10 years. On BACN Jamie served multiple roles both as a software engineer, team leader, as well as a field engineer in support of BACN operations in the Middle East. Jamie brings a breadth and depth of engineering experience ranging from software development, systems engineering, and operational experience with Airborne Networking systems. In 2019 Jamie joined GALT, Inc. as the lead software engineer and architect.
