Paul Shew

Paul Shew serves as Chief Operating Officer of GALT Aerospace. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in aerospace and defense, transforming global businesses, improving operational performance, and building teams across advanced electronics and mission systems.

Prior to joining GALT, Paul served as Divisional President of Cubic Defense from 2023 to 2026, leading nine business units worldwide. He directed strategy and business transformation, strengthening execution and financial performance while expanding investment in technology and people.

Previously, Paul served as Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence at Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions (CAES) and led its Integrated Defense Systems division as Senior Vice President and General Manager. Earlier leadership roles at General Atomics and United Technologies included programs, manufacturing, and aftermarket services.

Paul holds an Executive Master of Business Administration and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from University College Dublin, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Trinity College Dublin. He completed the UTC Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
